The Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting has created an entry-level program for chair-side dental assisting. Our school is committed to providing you with a quality education, and is designed for both lecture and lab that includes two dental units to simulate a working office.

We are affiliated with the office of Dr. Michael Kun, one of Lehigh Valley’s leading cosmetic dentists. The school is located next door to Dr. Kun’s office, and students are given the opportunity to shadow and complete hands on externships in Dr. Kun’s state-of-the-art office.

Our staff is comprised of working dental assistants, so students learn from professionals that actually do the job every day!

Fay Fried, B.S., Director
Fay received her B.S. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has served in numerous managerial roles and sales positions for the Disney Company where she was a cast member for over 17 years and was awarded the prestigious "Partners in Excellence Award." She has a broad range of managerial and marketing experience. Fay is the Director of the Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting where she facilitates the enrollment of students and manages the daily operational needs of the school. Fay is a member of the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics and has completed numerous classes at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She also serves as the Marketing Director and Human Resource Manager for the office of Dr. Kun.

Michael E. Kun, D.M.D., F.I.A.D.F.E. ,CEO/ Instructor
Dr. Kun received his B.A. degree from Miami University and his D.M.D. degree from Temple University, School of Dentistry. He has practiced dentistry in Pennsylvania since 1991. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Functional Orthodontics, a Sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a General member in the American Academy of Cranial Facial Pain and the International College of Cranial Mandibular Orthopedics. Dr. Kun has also been awarded a Fellowship in the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics.

Holly Wilson, CDA., Instructor
Holly started as a Dental Assistant after graduation from Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, NJ. She worked as a Dental Assistant in N.J. for two years before relocating to the Lehigh Valley in 1977. For the last 26 years, Holly has been employed by Edmund Levendusky, D.D.S. in Allentown, PA. During this time she achieved her Dental Assistant Certification, her radiological certification and has maintained yearly continuing education credits. Her duties include chairside assisting, as well as maintaining the role of office manager, front desk receptionist and laboratory manager. Holly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her to the school and takes great pride as an instructor.
