Fay Fried
B.S., DIRECTOR
Fay received her B.S. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has served in numerous managerial roles and sales positions for the Disney Company where she was a cast member for over 17 years and was awarded the prestigious “Partners in Excellence Award.” She has a broad range of managerial and marketing experience. Fay is the Director of the Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting where she facilitates the enrollment of students and manages the daily operational needs of the school. Fay is a member of the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics and has completed numerous classes at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Fay is the originating founder of the school and has great pride in the fact that the school has changed hundreds of lives over the past 15 years and hopes that the school can provide that for many more candidates in the future!

Michael E. Kun
D.M.D., F.I.A.D.F.E. ,CEO/ Instructor
Dr. Kun received his post graduate degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. He has been practicing in PA since 1991. He is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Association of Functional Orthodontics, The American Academy of Craniofacial pain, and the International College of Cranial Mandibular Orthopedics. Dr. Kun also holds membership in The American Equilibration Society. Dr. Kun has been a sustaining member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has been awarded fellowships in the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics, The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and The International Association of Physiologic and Aesthetics. Holly Wilson
CDA., Instructor
Holly has made dental assisting a lifelong career. She Started in New Jersey, just out of high school and two years later relocated to Bethlehem, Pa, as she was considering going for her dental hygienist license. When she realized that she loved the variety of what she does in a General Dental office, she decided to continue as an assistant. At that time she received her Certified Dental Assistant status and she has maintained it for many years. 13 years ago, Holly joined Fay and Dr. Kun at the Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting and has grown to love and have a passion for teaching. To be able to share with students the love of dental assisting has been very rewarding for Holly.

Crystal Burns
DA
Crystal attended LVSODA in 2008. She began her journey as a dental assistant in 2009, employed by Dr. Michael Kun DMD. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and being part of a team. Her duties include chair-side assisting, orthodonic assisting, taking impressions, labwork and educating patients on procedures. Crystal brings experience, love of dentistry and love of people to the school and is very excited about educating students.

Lisa McGraw
DA, Instructor
Lisa was originally trained as a Dental Assistant in the Army Reserves. During this time she worked in an Oral Surgery office in Scranton, PA. After moving to the Lehigh Valley in 1992, Lisa worked in the dental office of Dr. Fexa and Dr. Marsh. She worked there for 8 years before joining Dr. Mary Viechnicki’s practice in 2000. At Dr. Viechnicki’s office, Lisa completed extensive continuing education courses for cosmetic dentistry. She continues to maintain state of the art techniques and up to date materials through various courses and seminars. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient care, chairside assisting, sterilization, ordering supplies as well as Zoom Whitening Technician. Lisa also works for Dr. John Potter, a Periodontist/Implantologist, where she assists in implant placement and laser surgeries.

Nilmalee(Nilly) Ramos
Dental Assistant, EFDA, Instructor
Nilly started her dental journey at The Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting in 2015. She feels it was the best decision she ever made, because the school was able to prepare her to achieve her goal in becoming an astounding, multitasking dental assistant! Nilly worked in a general dental office right out of school, and shortly after graduating, Nilly attended Harcum College where she studied to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She now works in pediatric dentistry, and loves what she does! She feels she has been able to grow within her dental career, and she takes great pride in what she does. She believes in restorative dentistry and getting teeth back to their normal function, and making patients smile!

Tara Guerino
Dental Assistant, Instructor
Tara has a Bachelors in Health Care Administration and received her Certificate at The Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting in July of 2014. She’s always wanted to do something in the HealthCare field, and doing Dental Assisting was the best decision she feels she has made for her career. Being a part of patient’s life changing transformations is the most rewarding. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, going kayaking, fishing, and weekend beach getaways. Tara is very excited to be teaching others what she loves to do!
